2024-25 Photo and Video Contest

Please use the link below to submit your photo or video for consideration in the 2024-25 People of WASH Photo and Video Contest. Thank you for supporting WASH Rotary Action Group, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene! Winners will be announced at the 2025 WASH-RAG Annual Meeting.

 

All entries must be submitted by April 30, 2025. Late submissions may not be considered.

WASH-RAG Photograph and Video Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

  • Only current WASH-RAG members are eligible to participate. Non-members of WASH-RAG are welcome to submit their work for consideration, but must become members of WASH-RAG to be considered.

2. Submission Guidelines

  • All entries must be submitted by April 30, 2025. Late submissions may not be considered.
  • Each participant can submit a maximum of 10 entries in each category (photograph and video).
  • All submissions must be owned by the individual submitting the work.

3. Categories

  • The contest will have two main categories: Photography and Video. Prizes will be awarded in Photography :  First – $300     Second – $150    Third – $75 and in Video:  First – $600    Second –  $300   Third – $150.

4. Judging Process

  • Finalists will be selected by the WASH-RAG Board or Directors and WASH-RAG Operations Team.
  • Active WASH-RAG members will then vote on the finalists to determine the winner in each category.

5. Announcement of Winners

  • Winners will be announced during the WASH-RAG Annual Meeting.
  • Winners will be notified via the email provided during submission.

6. Prize Acceptance

  • Winners have 90 days from notification to formally accept their prize. If a winner does not accept within this timeframe, the prize may be forfeited.

7. Modification of Rules

  • WASH-RAG reserves the right to update or modify contest rules as necessary.

8. Copyright and Use of Submissions

  • By entering the contest, the submitter confirms that all people shown have allowed permission for their picture to be used. The submitter grants WASH-RAG the right to use submitted works for promotional purposes.
  • WASH-RAG reserves the right to edit materials and images or video for length and content.
  • The submitter agrees to allow WASH-RAG and partners to publish their submitted information.
Photography and Media Release
WASH-RAG reserves the right to edit materials and images or video for length and content. By submitting this form, you give us permission to publish and make public your information, including but not limited to your email or club’s website.  In addition, you agree to Rotary International’s media release and extend this release to WASH-RAG.

Due to the unique attributes of water sources and water provision, acceptance of corporate support does not imply an endorsement of any particular water technology.
