Project / Live-Saving Actions for COVID19 Vulnerable Persons

The project objective is to contribute to efforts to counter the impacts of the COVID19 Pandemic. The focus is on life-saving actions in an area that has a large number of extremely vulnerable persons , for example ; those affected by HIV/AIDS, elderly, widowed, and child-headed families among others. Offers from area Rotary Clubs are offering bars of soap in kind as well as vehicles for distribution. The local county government of Homa-bay county has also offered-in-kind face 2,500 masks and 500 hand sanitizer as well as 5 health staff to accompany the team. The project should help reduce the of clusters that ca re-infect neighboring populations once the infections have stabilized in other areas.
