Description of the Project: Desilting of a river in the upstream of a weir and supplying water to a nearby village. The Proposed Project, RCNBS will increase water holding capacity of an existing Weir (constructed on the Kalu a river through De-siltation. The Weir is located in a village situated in the Murbad Taluka of Thane District in Maharashtra State. The Club further would like to provide water for drinking, household and other purposes to the villagers and cattle by: pumping water from river to the village, constructing a Jack Well near the river, constructing a Drinking water tank, and constructing a Washing station. The proposal information includes; project plan, budget, training program, and formal Needs Assessment. Looking for additional financial support and partnership.

Seeking International partner
350 villagers will have uninterupted water in the nearby village. Farmers have access to water for a second annual crop. The local 250 cattle will also have water.
The indirect benefit includes employmenmigration during the summer months for 5 nearby villages. The water table will be higher which is an overall benefit.
