Project / Safe Water for Palermo Community
The general objective of the project is to provide potable water in bottles to the community of the Palermo region, municipality of Sitio Nuevo, department of Magdalena, Colombia; through a Sunspring water filtration system, powered by a photovoltaic and wind energy installation and a bottle washing system. Additionally, the project will provide training for children and adults in the correct use of water, the best sanitation practices, adequate waste and garbage management.
The community to benefit is made up of 15000 people and the life of the project is 20 years.
