Project / La Vega Water Project

Provide safe and secure source of drinking water for the community of La Vega, Suchitepequez Department, Guatemala. Residents currently obtain drinking water from individual hand dug shallow wells roughly 30 feet deep, located nearby pit toilets. Nearly all wells are contaminated with coliform. This grant will provide a deep well, holding tank, and water distribution system to approximately 400 homes.
