Rotaractors - we have an opening on the Operations Team
of the WASH Rotary Action Group

The WASH Rotary Action Group is a vibrant and growing organization with some 1,500 members across 90+ countries. Our work is widely recognized as making valuable contributions to the WASH Sector, both within and outside of Rotary. This Action Group is supported by a small but effective volunteer Operations Team, several sub-teams, and an Executive Secretary.

The day-to-day operations of the WASH Rotary Action Group are handled by the Operations Team which, in turn, reports to a Board of Directors. The Operations Team is a very active and diverse group. All members are volunteers – there is no remuneration for any of our members.

Each member brings a unique skill-set to the team, including:

  • Chair - Brian Hall – Technology (USA)
  • Vice Chair – Julia Phelps – Summits and Webinars (USA)
  • Treasurer – Mike Colasurdo (USA)
  • Fundraising – Elise Cadigan (USA)
  • Professional Resources – Ron Denham (Canada)
  • Cadre Program/Partnerships – Wade Nomura (USA)
  • Membership Satisfaction – Rajiv Sharma (India)
  • Ambassador Program and Membership – Peter Staermose (Belgium)
  • Marketing and Communications – Lisa Talley (USA)
Our focus is to assist Rotary clubs and districts with their WASH programs and projects. We achieve this goal by providing a variety of resources, including technical expertise, assistance with writing Global Grants, raising funds for projects, generating webinars and other learning opportunities, encouraging interest and participation in WASH projects, and much more. A wealth of information is contained on our website at www.wash-rag.org.

While their skills are diverse, our Operations Team members are united by a passionate commitment to providing safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to those who don’t have access to these basic human rights.

You:
We are looking for a member of Rotaract who shares our enthusiasm and is willing to commit some of their time and talent to achieving our goals. You would be a full member of our Operations Team. Your first meetings would orient you to our activities and give you an opportunity to share your ideas and vision with us. With your help we would then define a more specific role that would fit with your skills and interests.

If this role is of interest to you, please submit a brief resume and a paragraph or two describing why you are interested in joining our team.  Or, for more information, please contact us at info@wasrag.org.
