Hand Hygiene For Health
For a School of 1000 student, Handwashing Behaviour Change is created and sustained in just 3 DAYS
The system is to provide a hygiene workshop and portable tap for each classroom. This greatly improve access to running water and soap for handwashing and hand hygiene for health. ‘Hand Hygiene for Health’ (HHFH) system using a portable SPATAP, provides the economical long term solution.
Handwashing behaviour change Is only possible with convenient access to a clean, hygienic, tap with flowing water to wash away contaminants.

Post your project on WASH website. We will promote it in WASH newsletter. This will bring your project to the attention of over 48,000 Rotarian and non-Rotarian contacts.

Why the funny name: WASH Rotary Action Group?
WASH is an acronym – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Rotary Action Group. It is often referred to as “WASH-RAG" It’s not an elegant name, but it does stay in people’s minds!
